Woodward Park City Sets the Stage

Snowboarders gathered at Woodward, Park City on March 1, 2025, for the first stop of the Crusher Cup. The event did not disappoint. Hosted by Skullcandy, this wasn’t just another rail jam — it was a showcase of talent, community, and progression that set the tone for the season. It was also the qualifier for the finals scheduled this coming December of 2025— a pro invitational where team captains will be selected from the Skullcandy snowboard team to create their own teams. It follows the same format as this past summer’s Crusher Cup skateboard event at The Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City and it’s clear that this stop set a high bar for the rest of the series.

Why This Matters

Lately, the snowboard scene has been missing those grassroots, no-pressure competitions that let riders truly express themselves. Skullcandy recognized this and stepped in to fill the gap. “There used to be way more non-sanctioned snowboard contests, and now there’s a void,” says Alex Sherman, Skullcandy's Brand Marketing Manager. The Crusher Cup was created to give local riders and established pros a space to push their limits and be part of something bigger.

Why Woodward Park City

Woodward Park City delivered an incredible setup, creating the perfect environment for progression. The crowd was engaged, the tricks were creative, and the energy was high. These riders brought their best to make this an event to remember.
